“通灵石板的玩法早就被用滥了。Nathan Kranzo的Spirit Coffin却能让这件蒙尘的老旧道具重焕生机，更将其效果带到新高度，为魔术师提供了更多表演呈现的可能，以及叙事发挥的空间。让你的通灵石板就此‘安息’吧——其实早该如此了，不如入手Nathan Kranzo的Spirit Coffin。它既有万圣节的惊悚氛围，又能带来圣诞节的惊喜体验。”
- Dan Sperry
“Nathan Kranzo的通灵棺，为早已‘过气’的通灵石板注入了新活力。它设计精巧，自带诡异气息，障眼手法更是新颖巧妙，让人不禁怀疑Nathan Kranzo的工作室是不是建在了能量线上。其原理利落干脆，表演过程看似公正无欺，最终呈现的效果却让人啧啧称奇。简而言之，Spirit Coffin的出现，印证了经典永不过时的道理。”

Spirit Coffin (Plastic) by Nathan Kranzo
"Nathan has taken one of the all-time classic spirit effects and given it a whole new life, pun intended. This is good stuff!" - Mark Strivings
"Very cool, especially if you are not doing a period piece. Direct to the point, packs small plays big. Saves the space of carrying a board but leaves the same impact." - Donald Deich
"Clever, creepy, and fun: a classic reborn. True Kranzo cleverness." - Jamie Salinas
"Spirit Slates has been done to death. Kranzo's Spirit Coffin breathes life back into the old dusty prop and resurrects it to new levels allowing the performer so many more presentation possibilities and opportunity for storytelling. Let your spirit slates rest in peace like you should have years ago and get Kranzos Spirit Coffin instead - it hits like Halloween but feels like Christmas." - Dan Sperry
"Nathan Kranzo’s Spirit Coffin breathes new life into the dearly departed Spirit Slate. It’s elegant, eerie, and refreshingly deceptive, the sort of piece that makes you wonder whether Kranzo’s workshop sits on a ley line. The method is sharp, the presentation disarmingly fair, and the result delightfully uncanny. In short, Spirit Coffin proves the dead still have the best material." - Vince Wilson
"Ok, this is a GREAT idea! Simple classic method made accessible for us modern performers! I’ll take TWO!" - Joe Diamond
"If you're the kind of performer who would have a coffin-shaped box among your props (at least for Halloween), this could form the basis of a self-contained and spooky close-up set. Big enough to contain business cards, pens, and other essentials for any number of bizarre and mentalism routines, it equips you to close with a strong spirit-slate writing or card-box effect without needing to carry anything else. Very smart." - Neil Tobin
"Wow, what a great idea! Such a natural prop particularly for this time of year. It takes the spirit slates and makes them a bit more relevant." - Marc DeSouza
Conjure the spirits to bring you and your audiences messages from beyond with Spirit Coffin from Nathan Kranzo. This update to the classic Spirit Slates effect lets you reveal names, words, and so much more! An instantly engaging prop that is as versatile as it is magical.
The Spirit Slates have been a traditional prop in spiritualism and bizarre magic for decades, but modern audiences have little reference for chalkboards in an age of screens. The Spirit Coffin instantly grabs the audience and holds their attention, giving you tremendous opportunities to perform haunting revelations.
Here's what happens:
1. You show the inside of a small coffin to be completely empty.
2. Close the coffin with a small piece of chalk inside.
3. Summon the spirits and then open the coffin to reveal your spectator's name scrawled in chalk across the lid.
Spirit Coffin is the perfect way to add a spooky reveal. You don't just have to reveal their name, though. It could be the thought of a word from a book test, a serial number on a bill, the possibilities are endless. The coffin does all the work for you. Just close the lid, and the reveal is ready to go. Nathan Kranzo teaches you not just some of his favorite routines, but also methods of obtaining information before the trick even begins, so you can get monster reactions. This little coffin immediately sets the mood for you and your spectators to connect with the great beyond.
Note: The coffin of this version is plastic.
