Deluxe Talking Dice by Kupper Magic
Two canisters with screwed on caps and a dice are given out to the audience for inspection. The audience is asked to choose any number on the dice and place it into the canister with the number facing up, then screw the cap. This canister is then placed into the larger canister, and the cap is screwed as well. All these are done while the magician turns his back.
There's no way the magician can see through these secured canisters. But by bringing the canister near the magician's ear, he is able to listen to which number of the dice is facing up.
You can repeat it instantly (as many times as you like) without spectators catching on to the diabolical secret.
