Here's a color changing effect with the Bicycle card box. It happens with a simple move. No switching needed. After that you can take the playing cards from the box to start your card routine.

Show a pack of Bicycle playing cards. The card box is red. Explain that this is a very odd deck because inside the red card box is a blue-backed deck of cards. Strange that the card company would make this mistake. Offer to fix the card company's mistake.

Hold the card box in your hand. Moving your hand, the card box gradually changes from red to blue! It's amazing to watch and it looks like real magic!
